St Maarten Transportations

Most Travellers arrive at Princess Juliana International Airport in Dutch St Maarten on American Airlines, Continental Airlines, United Airlines, Delta Airlines, US Airways, Air France, BWIA, KLM or other international carriers. There are two airports on the island. Princess Juliana Airport is located on the Dutch side, west of Philipsburg and near Simpson Bay. St Maarten's Queen Juliana International Airport is the second busiest airport in the Caribbean. L'Espérance Airport, Grand Case Airport is located on the French side, north of Marigot and close to Grand Case. American Airlines offer more frequent services to St Maarten.

Most roads are paved and in generally good condition. However, they can be narrow and often crowded, especially when the cruise ships are in port. Few roads are identified by name.

Ferry and charter boat service between St Martin and St Barth and other nearby islands is available.
